This week I started riding and wondering how people can ride 2 wheels so well. So started with the simple stuff and am excited for tomorrow to shoot with a good old friend Bryce Piwek.

The new landing sits at about 15ft tall. Thanks Bento for letting me rip your loader down the road haha.

R.I.P. Bob Mcwhinnie

For those who didn't know Bob, He is the only reason why my local town of Kimberley B.C. had a dirt jump park, skate park and swimming pool. He has played a major roll in my life as a person and a rider. Bob died of lung cancer and lasted a year longer then he was suppose to and I had so much I did not say to him in that year but never felt the right chance. Bob was always the substitute teacher in middle school and high school. We did not get along at all but as a grew older I learned to respect him. Then he asked if I could help him with the local mountain bike park and me and Bob along with many others made a old local dump into a vary nice and clean bike park.

When Bob was sick it did not matter if he was in good condition or bad condition he would be down at the skate park or bike park raking or just cleaning or sitting there thinking. To him it is not just a local area for kids but it was his place to think and his mark on the world. It was his way of showing that the little town of Kimberley needed a change. That change made a major impact on many people`s lifestyle`s.

Sometime`s I go to the bike park to ride by myself and to think and Bob would show up say hi ask me a couple things and if we need any dirt anywhere and tell me some of his idea`s to clean the area up. After we would sit there for hours and I would ride with my iPod in and he would sit on the bank and watch and we both would not say a word and it felt amazing riding in front of him because it would make him so proud of what he has done and me riding it is showing him how much I appreciate him and what he has done.

We have had our good times and our bad times. I think I may have been a little to hard on you when I was in middle school, But you took it pretty well. I really wouldn't blame you if you beat me, but for some reason you didn't. As I got older I gained a lot of respect for you and I don't think you understand how big of a roll you played in my life as a person and a mountain biker. I have to much to say and I am pretty sure the last thing you would want to do is check facebook. You are missed by many R.I.P. Bob.

Hey just thought I would do a little update. I havent been able to ride for the past 2 months because I have been sitting in -25 or so weather and snow. But I have been working and saving up to buy my buddy's Quad and I want to make it able to dig landing's and such with the snow plow that I am going to make it a trail building machine.

What I have been doing for this last month

So I got the chance to bring my tractor to my buddys place with good dirt and I have been building the jumps for about a month every single day. Its gotta be hard just to look at the photos and understand what going on but their is about five different lines in their somewhere with anything from transfers to pump tracks, normal jumps and big berms, The big set was just started in thease photos but they are about 20ft gaps and 7ft tall lips and landing that stand about 12ft tall and go deep into the ground.

Center Of Gravity

So I have been in Kelowna all week having a blast at the beach everyday and riding with some of my best friends every night. But I was also staying their to try to get in a Dirt jump even called Center Of Gravity that Steve Romaniuk was putting on down at Kelowna main beach. Went down their with Casey and seen the size of the landings and had to get in so I called steve up lucky for me he had heard my name before and was stoked to have me ride the jumps.

The event was vary chill not a major comp which was amazing cause we just got to show people what we do on two wheel. But what I was happy about was everytime you would do a run through you could see all the little kids just be in aaawwww and dont forget about the chicks to right.

My weekend in kelowna was so much fun because weather we were riding up the in run or riding the jumps Casey was right beside me sometimes to close but we were killing trains all day on both days.

Those of you who watch me and casey ride will no nothing is ever chill when we ride together we always learn something new and its always like x-games but way more fun

Hey its Dustn Greenall here, Well I came to Kelowna to shoot some photos with Red Bull and Casey Groves just to get stoked get some sweet sunset photos and chill on the beach in the 40 degree weather watching Kelowna burn down.
